Here in the Northeast it is the depths of winter - late January - and it is time to peruse the gardening catalogs that arrive on our doorstep...

doorstep? Gardening catalogs are increasingly arriving on our computer screens, no more snail mail for some. I am thrilled about this - save the trees, the mailman's back and your over-filled mail box.

Besides simple catalogs showing luscious photos of plants (gotta have that Sugar Pearls Apricot), I love the occasional garden design booklets that are available.
